The Longest Day Event assisted living guests enjoying a meal

The Alzheimer’s Association celebrates the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year—with fundraisers throughout the country. The Rosemount Senior Living at Steeple Center in Rosemount, Minnesota, proudly participates with events each year.

Fundraiser Accomplishments

The impact of The Rosemount’s Longest Day fundraiser on June 20, 2024, tallied more than $10,000, when tripled through the Alzheimer’s Association’s Bonus Triple Matching Gift Challenge.

Enjoying the Event

To start, The Rosemount sold purple ribbons and luminaries and displayed them in the lobby.

Crowd favorite, accordion player Rod Cerar, made a special trip from Florida to perform before an Italian dinner.

The dinner featured several pastas, breads and olive/cheese trays.

Proceeds from purchases of wine, beer and special desserts benefitted the Alzheimer’s Association.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this cause that is so near and dear to our hearts!
